NSD: What was your big turning point—either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose the weight?
When Dr. Huzienga told me I had diabetes. It was a shocker!

NSD: What is one thing you wish you had known before going on The Biggest Loser?
How much mental work goes into it. It never stops. It goes on forever.

NSD: If you could have done one thing differently during the show, what would it be?
Eliminations... no eliminations.

NSD: What was the hardest thing to adapt to while being on the ranch?

The rigorous schedule. It gets grueling.

NSD: What is one thing that keeps you motivated?
Knowing that my time here on this planet will be healthier and more planned out.

NSD: What is your favorite workout?
I love to swim! Swim if you love it!

NSD: What's the best advice Bob or Jillian has given you?
Bob: “I’m right here.” I’m not going to die and I needed to be present. Jill: “I don’t love you. You need to love yourself.”

NSD: What happens behind the scenes of the show that no one would know from watching it?
That we wait forever to do interviews and we really want to be working out.

NSD: What did you do for fun while you were on the ranch?
