Day 1 Assignment: Makeover Your Fridge

Are you ready to lose weight and adopt healthy habits? For the next 30 days, you'll get a daily assignment on your profile that will help you do just that. First, clean out your fridge. Throw away all outdated items. Then buy:

  • Fruits and veggies, cut fruit and veggies for snacks, frozen fruit for smoothies and frozen veggies for soups, chili and stews
  • Low-fat and fat-free dairy products, 4-oz. containers of yogurt and cottage cheese
  • Low-sodium deli meat, skinless white-meat chicken and fish, whole grain bread and rolls

I have lower back problems and overweight,I need to lose about 50 pound's.What exercises would work for me,And as far as the food's I should I would love some advice on that as well.After I had child I became overweight, And after my back injury I gained even more weight.I want to lose the weight for my health,but I also want to lose it because I used to be 127 pounds,now I'm 210 pounds I can't deal with this anymore I want the old me back.

I am desperate to lose about 35 pounds.  I eat when I am upset, tired and stressed out and don't know how to deal with it.  Tried using the treadmill which I love doing but doesn't seem to help.  Any suggestions?

I have the same goal.  Difficulty managing stairs and have taken a few bad spills in the last 2 years that didn't make it any easier.  Would you be interested in a weightloss buddy?  We could encourage one another.  I want to try the plan above.  I currently am trying to be good and go to Curves.  The exercise machines they have there are not hard on your body.  I also take Glucosamine Chondroitin with is EXCELLENT for the joints and has helped me a lot.  It's just an over the counter minerals.  I live in North Carolina....
