Day 1 Assignment: Makeover Your Fridge
Are you ready to lose weight and adopt healthy habits? For the next 30 days, you'll get a daily assignment on your profile that will help you do just that. First, clean out your fridge. Throw away all outdated items. Then buy:
- Fruits and veggies, cut fruit and veggies for snacks, frozen fruit for smoothies and frozen veggies for soups, chili and stews
- Low-fat and fat-free dairy products, 4-oz. containers of yogurt and cottage cheese
- Low-sodium deli meat, skinless white-meat chicken and fish, whole grain bread and rolls

I have just a tad over 100 pounds to loose and I'm a young 50 years old last year. I'm having a really tough time and wanted to know if anyone would like a weight loss buddy to email once in a while I would love it! I want to start the plan above. You can live anywhere...but especially in North Carolina where I live would be cool! I'm married and have a little boy who just turned 8...yes 8 years old! Ok...so I'm a late bloomer. haha

The reality is that I need to lose about 100 pounds (at least). I have health issues such as neuropathy in my left thigh as a result of a pinched nerve in my lower back (which I've done PT for trying to avoid back surgery). I have pain in my knees when I go up stairs and I have pain and swelling in my left ankle from a fracture in 2004. So how do I go about losing weight as well as strengthening my areas of pain?

I really have goal to lose 30lbs with in 3 months. I have set such a high standard b/c I have a concert that I am attending and feel like it will motivate me. So I really need to just lose this weight and keep it off. I tend to over endulge and over eat when I am stressed. SO here I am!!
