The only equipment you need is a good pair of shoes. Look for good cushioning for your heels and toes and a tight fit that supports your instep but leaves wiggle room for your toes. Tune in tomorrow when we'll take our first steps together. —Leslie Sansone

I have have been a loyal New Balance walking shoe wearer since I bought my first pair 6 yrs ago. I had a pair of Nike I bought on vacation while at Disney World last year but they did nothing but hurt my feet so I went back to New Balance.

I have an 8 month old baby and a 3 yr old at home. I haven't worked since the baby's birth and I would love some advice on getting active myself on a daily basis and still giving them their exercise and time with me too. It all seems so easy when you think about it, but then the reality of children's needs come into play and the ideas of taking care of myself come second to my children's.

I have tried a few brands and I'd say go with Ryka or New Balance. Ryka is my favorite.
