I have unlocked most of the challangence but have not lost any weight. does anyone have any suggestions I am very discouraged with it wondering if it was a waste of money.I find it very fun but am so frustrated that I don't know what to do.  any suggestions would help.

Hi Thin4Me!

I have a wii fit too, and it's a great resource for those times when I can't get to the gym or don't have time to do a full-blown at home workout.

It's only been 5 days! You should absolutely put your mind to ease about this - it takes time to lose fat! It's true that our bodies shape up relatively quickly when we first start an exercise program, a tendancy called "beginner's gains" (as in gain in fitness, not in weight), but try not to put so much pressure on yourself as to expect so much in a matter of days.

So much about our health depends on what our habits are in the kitchen. Could you please list out everything you typically eat or drink in a day? It's helpful to look at where we get a lot of calories, how much protein/carbs/and fat we consume, how much sodium, fiber, fluids, etc. we take in, and so on. You need to properly fuel your body for your workouts.

Can you also please list out what a typical day's activities look like for you? We know that you are doing a lot on the wii fit, but what else do you do? Do you go to a gym? Do you go for walks? Do you play a sport?

Fat loss takes time - and by taking these steps you are so definitely on your way!

I want to get a Wii Fit, but I'm not sure if it's going to be worth it. I haven't looked into prices...how much did yours cost? Give an update in another feww wekks and tell me if you lost weight!

I have a Wii Fit and its great but i dont rely on it alone to lose weight.   I use the yoga and the strength training to tone and help with balance.  on rainy days i use it for walking.

I got the Wii Fit a couple of months ago and it was a easy way to tone your body without using weights and all the other exercising accessories. However, after awhile it becomes....well...boring. You begin to do the same things over and over again and you lose your motivation for doing it. I recently bought the game for the Wii called Active. I LOVE it!!!! It is like having your own personal trainer and you feel the burn! ( you always feel the pain the day afterwards too! lol) There are many different varieties of exercises to do whether you use a pre-programmed workout or your own custom workout. I recommend this to EVERYONE!

I have a wii fit its fantastic. I also recommend a game called My Fitness Coach its like a personal trainer. It doesnt use the wii fit board but its amazing. Combining both games together its a fun way to work out.
