I have to get up at 6 in the morning to get ready for school and at that time the last thing i am is hungry! At the most i will grab a bananna or something like that and try to drink a glass of milk anything past that makes me feel sick. When im at school i just dont tend to get hungry at lunchtime i hate school food and the snack bar is way to unhealthy a pretzel and cheese everyday for lunch umm NO!! So normally i will pack like a luna bar or some cereal with me. When i get home im fine and then around 3:30 i am really hungry so i will eat and then that just doesnt seem to be enough so i will eat some more. I work at nights normally 4:30- 7:30 and so because i just ate i wont eat dinner until i get home which i know cant be good because by the time i settle down its after 8! How can I stop this cycle and what should I do!

i used to eat this way, and i completely understand.  i went to work at 8:30, wasn't hungry around breakfast, occasionally ate lunch, and when i got home from work i was STARVING!  recently, i have changed my mealtime routines.  i started eating breakfast every day... and i got used to it.  breakfast is so important, and i believe if you try it, your body will adjust.  especially with school and work every day, you really really need those calories to fuel your day.

try a small bowl of cereal or oatmeal to start, or maybe a smoothie.  and if your school lunch isn't healthy, pack one!  this will curb your 3:30 hunger cycle as well, because when you are hungry and deprived of calories you tend to consume more than you actually need at the time.

if you get a break or a lunch time at work, that would be a good time to eat supper.  trust me, once you make the effort to regulate your mealtime schedule it will become habit; you will snack less often, and feel MUCH better overall!

I was like you when I went to school (many moons ago!)......wish someone had told me back then what I finally figured out....if you don't like breakfast foods eat something you do like for breakfast. What I do now is make a sandwich if I'm not feeling like usual breakfast stuff.  I love making a toasted sandwich with a turkey sausage patty, sliced tomatoes & lettuce.  Or I'll make a smoothie using frozen banana with strawberries or blueberries, yogurt, green tea and protein powder.  This morning I had fresh strawberries with vanilla/strawberry yogurt over top.  Nothing says you have to have the usual eggs or cereal. If you want a chicken sandwich with a piece of fruit go for it. As long as you're eating something......your body needs fuel.  You are waiting way too long to fuel your body therefore it thinks it's going to starve and then when you start to eat you just keep going!

You could take that banana and glass of milk you currently are having and throw it into a blender with some frozen fruit and protein powder and wham you got a good breakfast!

It took me awhile to get used to eating breakfast in the morning and a great idea at work is bring some trail mix or crackers and cheese to munch on during your break I do that when I work long hours and when I go to school I also get that K2O protein drink mix to help curb some hunger.
