I have a home gym as well...a treadmill....weight bench...workout balls...and DVD's by Leslie Sansone.....well I just have one dvd by her ...I think she's awesome...I've been doing 3 miles a day...i'm working up to 4. Any suggestions on other DvD's by her...I have the 5 Mile Fat Blast ..I'm looking foe a vriety.

Be careful with the scheduling of your workouts! I'm assuming that your home gym is some kind of total body strength training equipment - it's best to avoid doing a total body weight training workout on consecutive days, just as it's best to avoid working the same muscle groups on consecutive days. Our muscles improve while they're recovering from a workout, so it's generally recommended to leave at least a day in between training a particular muscle group.

We have a treadmill, bike, elipical, step, big ball, hand weights, Soooo many older step tapes, but I still really like em.
My son recently moved back home, the only place for all his stuff was, thats right, our excersise room, no room for us to use the machines unless we constantly move all his things from one side of the room to another, we had to join a gym. We really like it, im running 3.5 miles, by my 52 birthday I want to be running 5 miles, thats in july. I guess I should switch up my workouts, maybe thats why one day I feel great, the next its hard for me to do it what I easily did the day before.

I found one on craigs list for 150 bucks. And considering I was paying 50/month for a gym membership that I never had the time to go to, it's gonna pay for itself in no time. I have worked out every day since I got it (10 days ago), and I can already see a difference. And I can work out without fixing my hair, wear my crappy around the house clothes, and while my kids are in the other room eating breakfast.
I'm super stoked about it. I went out of town for Mother's Day and COMPLETELY blew my diet, which I think is allowed =), but I'm ready to get back in the swing of things.
