Took me a long time to "get into" Tara. I just didn't like her personality. But as time went on, I saw her determination and dedication and so admire and respect what she has accomplished. I think she will win.
Having said that, I will not be unhappy if Mike wins. Even though many do not like or respect his father, you have to see that they are a very close family and I think Mike will go on to help his brother (who I think should be chosen for the next season!!)
I wish them ALL good luck and good health and hope every contestant from this season is able to go forward in a positive way.

I definitely think that Tara will win, Mike is injured and Helen doesn't have that much more to lose. I'm more interested to see who of the kicked-off contestants wins the $100K.

I hope Tara wins! I don't want Mike or Ron to win anything. Ron, is a liar and a cheat! Ron admits that he is responsible for Mike's weight problem thru his poor example. Ron is also teaching Mike to be a liar and a cheater too. I don't want them to win ANYTHING! I hope the casting people for the show will do a better job of choosing contestants. The contestants for the last two years have been very dishonest and yet they stayed to the end. Do away with the couples and make it an individual competition.

I'm agreeing with everyone else--I think this season was fantastic, and I was quite impressed by most of the contestants. I haven't liked Ron since he sneakily voted off Kristin, but all the while kept up this bs line "I would never put her name down. You know that." He's so full of crap! I'm all for supporting your child in whatever way possible, but dang dude, at least be honest about it!
But I don't hold Ron's dishonesty and manipulation against his son. Mike seems like a genuinely good kid. I'm really hoping for Tara to win, since that girl has been balls to the wall from the start, never fell below the yellow line, won all the challenges, pretty much kicked butt the whole way!! You go girl! However, I voted for Ron to go home quite on purpose, and I hope he does. After all this show is about weight loss, so I hope the best man wins---as long as the best man is Tara or Mike! :)

I too think this is the best season so far!!! I really generally liked all the contestants this time and would be happy for any one of them to win. But Tara is the only one who never fell below the yellow line and won nearly every challenge. Great job to her!!! I wish them all the best of luck!!
