We’ve noticed the popularity of bento boxes—the Japanese way of arranging a lunchbox—in the blogosphere. While it is a great way to get your kids to eat a balanced meal, it’s also an easy way for busy adults to eat right. For portion control and convenience, bento boxes make excellent lunches. “Bento boxes are measured by capacity,” Crystal Watanabe, blogger of Adventures in Bentomaking tells us. “Adults usually eat 600 to 900 milliliter boxed lunches, while little kids usually eat 400 to 600 milliliter boxes.”
