Play Up Your Curves Like the '60s Siren

No one rocks her curves like Joan Holloway. Here's how to steal her '60s siren style.

The Shift Dress

This simple shift dress accentuates the waist while the neckline frames the face and cuts from shoulder to shoulder without showing any cleavage. The simplicity of the dress leaves it all up to the imagination. A long chain or necklace can effectively lengthen the neckline on this style neck. To make this look more contemporary and define your waist, you can add a belt. Get the look with this Calvin Klein dress for $138.

couchspud    I lived in that era,  Worked in advettising art, and had the same shape and clothes that are in these pictures. (not larger)  We all did and loved it.  Watching this show brings back alot of great memories

Dear Anonymous.Poster
This is a diet site but they are offering us more then just dieting. Anonymous.Poster have you thought lately about your motivations? For some of us it is to look great or feel confident, this article is very much about helping us to accomplish that.
Personally I am thrilled that curves are coming back in style.

Mad Men takes place in an earlier era, correct? Standards of beauty back then called for women to have a little more "meat on their bones" than the women in these pictures. An actual pinup girl from this time period might be a better way to inspire a healthy lifestyle.

The site is about being healthy, feeling great and loving yourself. This slideshow's about embracing the body you have and flaunting it.
