Gastric Bypass Hypnosis

A woman in the U.K lost 50 pounds from doing… nothing. After five sessions of hypnosis, this English woman now believes that she has had gastric bypass surgery and is unable to eat large portions of food. She even recalls the hospital ward and imagines that her stomach is now the size of a golf ball.

Yes, eating a healthy and well-balanced diet along with regular exercise leads to weight loss.
But, it also requires huge amounts of motivation, responsibility, perseverance, patience and self disapline and more.
That is where I, and many others, run into trouble.
I don't know what the answer(s) is(are), but I hope I find out soon!

Anyone can lose weight just eat less and exercise more?  Well, that sounds good up front. I lost 130 pounds and exercise more than I EVER did before and am eating better than I have ever eaten before.  WHen I asked why I am not only not losing but actually gained 20 pounds this past year they explain it away by saying that  muscle weighs more than fat. Give me a break.  Please doctors keep searching for the answer. I am 65 and can't sustain this weight long term.  Oh, and I forgot to say even though I lost all that weight I only got down to 270 pounds. So go figure.  Brain surgery is not an option......for me anyway.  at least not now.  It is too new.  I think we just keep swimming and eating right and praying and maybe one day there will be a cure.  But for now......
we just have to live with it. It seems to me that many of the weight loss doctors especially the surgical weight loss doctors are pudgy and overweight.  What's with that?

I definitely would not recommend this at all!!  I have studied the brain in depth as it was my undergraduate degree, and I've also experienced brain surgery myself!!  I had a brain tumour in which I was born with and had removed when I was 15.  It took me a very long time to recuperate from the surgery, even at such a young age, and it was the result of the brain surgery which caused me to gain an excess of 60+ pounds in less than a month.  Granted, my surgery was not this surgery, but it just goes to show you that anything can and will go wrong.  How many people have had gastric bypass surgery, or gone on some fad diet that maybe helped for a wee while, but it eventually catches up with you.  Be sensible, save your money you would spend on this ridiculous brain surgery, and learn how to eat a balanced and nutritious meal, count calories, make wise decisions on what food you fuel your body with, and EXERCISE!!  It's not rocket science, and it's most certainly not BRAIN SURGERY!  To lose weight, all it really takes is someone who is dedicated to losing the weight (and if you are willing to pay alot of money for brain surgery I'd say you are!), and you just have to burn more calories than you consume.  There are plenty of websites and books out there, much cheaper than brain surgery.  If you've ever watched a season of Biggest Loser, it's been proven time and time again that ANYONE can lose weight if they eat properly and exercise properly!
