FitFlops Get You Fit And Other Hype

Today diet and nutrition editor Madelyn Fernstrom calls bluff on some popular health and weight-loss claims.

Showing your cute pedicured toes with some stylish flip-flops is a hot summer trend. Don’t be fooled—companies are now marketing their flip-flops as shoes that help tone your leg muscles and subsequently burn more calories when walking. But Fernstrom says FitFlops are merely flip-flops with good support. Though they won’t tone any muscle, they will help you walk longer because your feet won’t hurt.

What about water? I was told drink when you are thirsty.  I am not a water drinker, it bores me, even with putting additives such as Crystal Light in it.  Then I hear that I should force myself to drink 8-8oz of water daily, yeah ok...not! I would be lucky to have one bottle of water a day.

To be more exact, no magical fruit will let you lose weight with doing nothing!!

You will have to watch your diet and exercise / practice a sport...
