Have Fun With Fitness

We've all been there before—your day-to-day workouts get so repetitive, you're bored to tears. If you don’t have a daily workout routine, it’s hard to even get started when simply running on a treadmill sounds far from thrilling. We’ve got some wacky workouts to liven up your sweat sessions... or at least some to make you laugh.

Hi, I'm Tim...the creator of Punk Rope. Our goal is simple: give people a great workout, put a smile on their face at the same time, and build community. To optimize the workout we use rope jumping as the primary cardio modality because it has unmatched fitness benefits. In addition, we incorporate a variety of tried and true calisthenics to improve endurance, strength, agility, and balance. To get the smiles we theme our workouts (anything from super heroes to the Super Bowl) and use ridiculous objects for our relay races. Works every time! To build community we ask our instructors to teach at least one charity class per year and encourage post-class get togethers. In New York City, we've been doing happy hours for the past 4 years. I hope you'll get to check out a class soon. If you have questions feel free to email us at tim@punkrope.com.

I wish you had a format to see all the items in all your programs  instead of having to click on each and wait. It is a pain!!!  It is not exercise and makes you sit in front of the computer longer waiting for the pages to change.

I actually do Punk Rope in Brooklyn, NY (& am in the DVD), & it's hard for me not to gush about how much fun the workout is -- just check out how much fun we're having in the DVD. You don't feel like you're working out when you're busy hopping around to some of your favorite songs, not to mention lunging to pick up imaginary bags of gold or jumping up & running side to side to catch an imaginary baseball. Since there are themes to the class each week, every class is a different workout & feels new. Plus, thanks in large part to the motivation of these Punk Rope workouts & our fantastic instructor (& Punk Rope inventor), Tim Haft, I've lost about 30 lbs. in the last couple years & toned up a lot.

I can't recommend Punk Rope enough. Just check it out & you'll see.

If you are in the Madison or Milwaukee area (and coming to Kenosha, WI), you can also try Pole dancing with Miss Pole Fitness.  A tremendous core workout.  Pole dancing is not just for strippers but also for those looking for a different fitness workout.

OMG Jingle Jump!  Any of us who remember them are really dating ourselves! LOL.  I remember waking up on Saturday morning and before I even ate breakfast, going down to the basement to jingle jump!  Whatever happen to them and who's with me to bring them back?!
