Barbie’s Real-Life Measurements

Legendary shoe designer Christian Louboutin was badmouthing his newest client, Barbie, this past week. According to the French designer, Barbie “has fat ankles,” so he recreated the doll with skinnier legs for the new collection, to come out this year. Ouch—wonder what this shoe god says about our non-one-inch ankles.

Ever wonder, if Barbie were a real woman, what her measurements would be? We’ll tell you.

hey... first of all y r u guys comparin urself to a doll?? - which is nothing but d product of someones imagination.... i understand wanting to be healthy but tat is it.... just like everyones personality, ones body is unique... rather than trying to impress d rest of d world(who actually have btr thhings to occupy their time with - beleive it or not!) with it... learn to njoy and respect ur body while its healthy and functioning well...

my sister and i are having this argument....my daughter was playing with one of her barbies and i put her to bed.  i was holding it when my sister said something about her boobs being so big. she said she read it online that her boobs would be like a dd in real life.  which acually its like a 38ff but come on i was like really...

to me they look like a big b or c.  no bigger.  my boobs im pretty small.  5ft 6inches, 108 lbs, 32c sometime i wear a 32d.  to me my boobs are way bigger than hers would be.  she tells me im hating because she is pretty.  which i guess i do kind of dog famous hot chics like that fox girl off of transformers.  i dont know i just dont think she is beautiful..  shes hot but whatever. anyways im just not seeing it....they also say that her head would be three times bigger than a normal womans but thats just dumb

what do you think

Well, duh, we are not the same realistic portion of Barbie....or any of the disney princesses for that matter. SO WHAT!!! You want the dolls off the self? Last I checked, my head wasn't as big as a bratz doll either. If it helps your self esteem to attack a doll...so be it. But its an old and pointless fight. No one ask you or any of us to be like Barbie..or any other doll out there. Some girls were born fat, some skinny, some with long legs, some with long waists....there will never be a doll to universally represent the variety of women and girls out here. Work on yourself than try to decide on ONE doll to showcase how women should be...have you checked out Spiderman or G I JOE? Seriously!

The only thing that Barbie and I have in common is our feet. I wear size 5 adults, and also 3 in kids. (around here, size 5 adults are very hard to find) .Tee-hee.I don't think I wanna be like her,too much. But I am trying to get in better shape, than I am.I have started to exercise, eat better, and be more active. I have been at it for only 2 weeks,so wish me luck, that I stick to it.
