I am not sure about the benefits of losing weight (it says on the box that it is not proven) BUT I am POSITIVE that you use different muscle groups when wearing Earth Negative Heal Shoes. In my prior post, I mentioned that I had to undergo Total Knee replacement 7 months ago (still have 5 months of rehab to go) w/ a goal of doing a 5 K by Christmas.... still having a LOT of residual pain and now needing replacement on the other knee which I'd like to put off as long as possible, if not longer! The ONLY time I am TRULY painfree is in my Earth shoes walking. Can crank out 1.5 miles w/ no problems except being deconditioned from being laid up from these knees for so long! Just got a pair for my gal pal who is 3 months ahead of me on the knee replacement and way behind me on the rehab and she is ecstatic. So nice to be without pain. Oh, and I lost 8 lbs without really changing anything excepting the WALKING in the EARTH shoes and only doing that about 2-3 times a week due to a busy schedule. Thanks be to God!

I bought Skechers Shape-Ups a couple of months ago because I'm on my feet all day. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had! I liked them so much that I bought another pair for non-work. in a matter of weeks, I have noticed that my legs are more shapely and the muscles in my hamstrings and bottom feel the exercise motion when I walk. Also, some cellulite has disappeared! Hooray! The shoes have also helped me get walking more, they are fun to wear! I am always aware of my posture being a dancer, but these shoes are really helpful!
Right now I believe you can only get them on the Skechers website. They are $110. Kohls had them online, but not in the stores, same with Skecher outlets. I can only find them online.
I love them!

My trainer recommended an exercise insole that fits into my sneakers and shoes that work to increase circulation. It's similar to the negative heel that's in MBT, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper and you're not forced to wear funny looking shoes. They're called SmartSole exercise insoles http://www.smartsole.com/ I wear them everywhere I go and they're really comfortable. I lost 20 pounds by being more aware every day of how many calories I eat, making better choices and walking more. I saw a discount code MB10 for 10% off on a fitness board.
