I am 57 yrs old and very overweight, 5'3" and weigh 200lbs! Definitely need encouragement, and help! Need to lose wgt primarily for my health so that I could get off several medications. I found this site, and it has been helpful. Ali

Hello to all,
I'm a 47 year-old mother single mother of a soon to be 5 year-old boy. I don't have much weight to lose - 5lbs, but I need lots, lots and lots of motivation to help me stay on track. I love to workout, but I sometimes fall of the wagon for months at a time and I'm a junk food addict and I make way to many bad food and beverage choices. I also like drinking lite beers two to three times a week. I'm looking for a buddy or buddies who want to make gradual changes and is ready to start now. We must 100% support each other through good and bad times. My goals are to make healthier food choice, cut back on the beer to maybe once a week or none and workout at least four days a week, which will include cardio, strength and yoga or piliates.

Just found this site . . . it looks good. I too am looking for some buddies. I'll be 55 this year, don't want to get skinny again, just lose a few pounds and be healthy and get in a routine of some daily exercise.
