Fox NFL and Burger King

As if the Jessica Simpson's mom jeans debacle and loss of her Maltipoo Daisy weren’t bad enough, during Fox NFL Sunday, animated versions of Dallas Cowboys players took turns skewering Simpson. (Coach Wade Phillips asks Simpson-ex Tony Romo, “Is Jessica around? We could use a defensive tackle!”) Responding to public outrage, Fox quickly apologized, admitting, “our poor attempt at humor was insensitive.”

I hate the commercial for (I think) AXE body spray when the guy is rolling down a hill making out with a girl then they roll into another girl and continue rolling down a hill as a threesome all making out with each other. I think it is vile, I mean, obviously a man came up with that idea, but what idiot thought it was a good idea to go with it? Come on people, get creative instead of this trite sexual junk.

honestly, i dont take offense to any of these commercials. want to know why? they were all created by a bunch of mindless idiots who cant think outside the box for something new... thats what a man does. get over it. the only reason why it still happens is because they are looking for a reaction from the viewers... if women all over the world just said i dont care anymore, than maybe man would get the hint. but theres too many women in the world that these commercials describe perfectly... you can only take offense if you have no respect for yourself. i respect myself, therefore i know what i am and what im not.... you cant faze me with a mindless commercial. its just makes me more intellegent than the man who came up with it.

Ya know, ladies, this stuff is reminding me of those awful "B" movies where the monster or psycho has just murdered a boyfriend in the middle of nowhere and the girl is scantily clad in 8" spiked heels running away, twisting her ankle and screaming/whimpering/crying etc when the nut job catches her in an obvious deadend... but we still listen to women being refered to, on TV and radio shows, as brainless bimbos and desperate if we don't have a man around to tell us what to do. We can continue to buy the sponsors products, and let them think we agree, or we can email them and give them the idea that we do vote, purchase products for our families and ourselves, and they can lose part of their profits to worthy competitors. I have six children, 3 of each, and I don't want my sons thinking that they should treat their girlfriends or wives with this type of attitude and also, my daughters are just as smart and capable as their male counterparts so they shouldn't be treated like second class citizens either. Women are very intelligent, and have great senses of humour, so why the insulting commercials people? I mean "OMG! ser'sly", duh huh! Gimme a break!

I think that the top prize has to go to those uber-annoying stupidgirl commercials that portray what has to be the dumbest girl of all time explaining why she loves her new Ford, and how she thinks that the tail lights should be PINK! Come on Ford, I know you made this commercial to air during a football game but two points: 1. There are alot of women and girls who also love football, not just the guys, so we WILL be watching. And number two: There are lots of women and girls who buy cars by themselves. Do you think this ad is going to have us beating down the doors at the local Ford dealerships? A word to the wise: don't insult your intended customers, we're really not all that stupid!
