Tricks of the Plate

Decisions, Decisions
From the minute we roll out of bed to the minute we crawl back in, we’re confronted with a barrage of food-based decisions; up to 200 per day, according to Dr. Brian Wansink, author of Mindless Eating. Since monitoring each one would leave us exhausted before noon, the key is to change our food cues to help us make better decisions—without even knowing it. Here’s how to start making feel-good choices.

Try diet Vernors or Diet Squirt (my fave!) Or try putting a squirt of lemon and a splenda in your water bottle!.....it's like a lite lemonaide.

Read up on freezing plastic water bottles.....it has the same effect as plastic in the microwave....it releases carcinogens into the water....freezing does this as does heating. What good is fit if we have cancer?!
be careful
Google it......this is scary stuff..........

I'm going to go back to basic's, so Fresh will be best. As for soda's I try & drink some fruit juice with a bit of water in it. I'm not too great at drinking water, so drink warm water in the morning & evening, at least that's two glasses more than I drank before.

I am a huge fan of water. I get my water bottle and stick it in the freezer, let it sit in the freezer for a little while. I take the bottle out when the sides are all frozen and then break it up. Water is better when it has the ice chunks in it. Water is the only liquid that I drink. It really helps the taste of water with the ice.
