Hello All-
I am a 48 yr old mother and now its my turn to get excited about this and learn to walk as much as I can. I have walked in the past but never kept it up for a very long period of time. But I do walk instead of driving more now, but I do have bad knees and I have to be more careful with the pace I do walk and distances. I will keep you all posted on my progress as soon as I see some results in this.

I have been doing workouts with Leslie for almost 2 years. I have lost 30 lbs and have toned up. Leslie, is very up lifting. She even has workouts that have up lifting modern christian music. Once you start you won't quit. Leslie, is full of encouragement. It's like having your best friend working out with you. The workouts are so easy. Also, you can do them in the comfort of your home even if you don't have a lot of room. I hope that everyone will give her try.
Good luck and God Bless

That was an inspiring story. I get my strength and my will to pursue my own weight goals from success stories i hear from other people. Reading Elsie's(?) story is like reading my own. I had weight problems all my life, cholesterol and blood pressure no good and 18 years ago, i was even diagnosed with a rare type of thyroid cancer which was malignant --but through positive thinking i thank God i'm still alive. It wasn't enough though as i watched myself grow from size 'small' to size '5XL' in all those years. Two years ago i almost died because of a lot of health complications so i made a choice and turn my life around --not only for myself but for my son (i'm a single mother). My diet was the first thing i changed. I've been a vegetarian for almost two years now and have lost almost 100 lbs over that period --and i'm really proud to say that i've lost it the natural way. When New Year 2009 kicked in, i made a commitment to start walking every day... and i never stopped walking since then. I lost another 50 lbs over the last few months and i've never felt better in my life. My friends are saying that i really look so much better these days --even younger. I have more energy and my skin even improved. No more high blood pressure or even migraine attacks went away. I look younger than my actual age (41) they say and i really attribute that to good food, exercise, positive thinking, a lot of help from inspirational stories like yours --and prayers. Health wise... this is my best year ever. And i want to celebrate this fact with all the men and women like you and me who are committed to make a 'healthy life' work. I've got a brand new lease on life --and i celebrate that every day!
