Hello, Iam 46 years old. I quite smokeing 8 years ago and 4 years ago I donateted a kindey to my sister.. Eversince I quite smokeing I have been putting on the pounds. I have tried several diets.. with no luck, but my main concern right now is I crave suger really really bad. I also am hypogulcemia.. Any advice on how to get this sugar and my weight under control?

8 years ago i had to go on tablets,has i was vrey ill and i am just comeing off them,but i have put on so much wighet(3 stone and it is makeing me fill very down ect. i have always been a size 12 top and10bottom,always had lots of go in me but now i get very tiredthrough the day and dont have it in me to do much work out time because time i have done the house work ect ,its time to sort the family out.and then i have to get thier clothes,dinner,lunches,and go round tidying up behind them till thay go to bed ,then i have some time to read and when finished it is 1 in the mornening then i find it hard to sleep and i lay thier till3 or 4 in the morining i just wish i could get a good nights sleep .i dont eat much small bowl of cearl sandwich for lunch cooked tea lots of water i have a cake and snak now and then and i eat lots of fruitand vegand i drink green tea.peach tea/and i have 2 cups of coffee aday fresh orange juice.i relly need to lose some of this wight has i have a family wedding to go to in september please please help me.ps ido lots of dancing and go on the step michaine every other day if i can .i am 50 now and i care about my wight and worry about itall the time,i dont like going out much has i fill people are looking at me and i fill a mess. many t5hanks xxx

Shirley,

You are exactly where I am now. I tried some various diets, including
WW. I lost less than 40 pounds, lost the motivation due to putting in
tons of work hours only to be laid off. Instead of using this time as
a  boost forward, I fell into the self pity mode.



I have ballooned to your previous weight. I find encouragement from your post.

I managed to find a better job, closer to home, and at a higher rate of
pay minus the responibility of management. So things are looking up for
me.

Now I just need to getmy butt off the couch, out of the recliner, turn
off the tv, and take my youngest dog out to play.  I live in PA
and my block is not really a block but a lopsided 90 degree hill.

I managed to walk up one side today and back down to my home, then
played with Reba and Bo out in the yard for 15 minutes before doing
alot of standing, walking in place while doing laundry in the basement,
and few other things.



I just wanted to say thank you for showing me that there are other
people on this site besides those that only need to lose 20-30 pounds.
