taking iron tablets along wit citrus fruits facilitates the absorption,of iron.

If you take any medications or vitamins, you should not take them with any citrus. Not just grapefruit. I believe you can have citrus after an hour of taking vitamins and/or medications. Its amazing when you think about it, how many people do you know that take their medications and/or vitamins with a tall glass of OJ every morning?

If you are on any medication, try to avoid grapefriuit as it can interfere with the function of your medication.
