Jillian Michaels on the Cover of 'Self'

By Linda Vongkhamchanh | July 02, 2009

We're so tired of seeing Hollywood nobodies (ahem, some certain reality TV stars on a show that rhymes with The Bills) and we're so thrilled that Self magazine put our girl Jillian Michaels on the cover of their July issue. She has changed lives left and right and is oozing with positivity and confidence, the perfect role model for girls (and women) everywhere. Can you tell we idolize her a little bit?

What do you think of Jillian's Self cover? Vote in our poll.

‘Biggest Loser’ Michelle Aguilar Gets Married

By Linda Vongkhamchanh | June 18, 2009

Michelle, ma belle
These are the words that go together well
My Michelle

That’s right folks, The Biggest Loser’s Michelle Aguilar walked down the aisle last weekend to The Beatles’s Michelle when she got married to the lucky man she met after her tremendous weight-loss transformation on Season 6. Remember he popped the question only four days after the big finale?

Biggest Loser fans and all you ladies out there, I know you’re dying to know the details. So, we got the inside scoop for you. The most important question: who did she wear? Michelle kept it simple and classy in a white silk-satin off-the-shoulder Piccione gown from the Alfred Angelo collection. Here’s a close up—we knew you would ask! Her bridesmaids also wore Alfred Angelo in a deep “Lipstick” red. The wedding party looked stunning in Piccione elegance.

As for the party, Michelle wanted to keep it fun and low-key by providing buckets of flip-flops for all her guests to change into for some fun and games, but only after cupcake wedding cake—yum! Michelle describes her wedding as more of a “family reunion” vibe than a stuffy wedding. We love this girl’s fun, down-to-earth attitude.

We still have yet to find out which former Biggest Loser contestants attended the nuptials, but we’re sure mama Renee, her best supporter and fellow pink teammate, was there as happy as ever.

I have been exercising now using P90X regimen as well as running and have changed my way of life as far as my dieting goes, but I have only lost 25 lbs in the last 10 weeks and I was expecting to lose much more by now...I notice that my weight can gain from 1-8 lbs in a single day...is this normal? what can I do about this
