Overeating Habits Conquered

NeverSayDiet User

I think the best thing to do is to eat until you're satisfied, which is different from eating until you're full.  Having a big glass of water before you eat a meal and a healthy snack in between meals really helps portion control when you sit down to have a meal. I increased my protein and fiber in my diet, started eating better carbs (whole wheat/whole grain) and I decreased the fat. I'll use a nice piece of fruit, light cheese, a Fiber One bar, or fat free organic yogurt for my snacks.  And let me tell you, Fat Free Jell-O pudding is a godsend! It's only 100 calories, and I'll have that for desert with either lunch or dinner, not with both.

I totally agree with you about the pudding.  Ice cream is my weakness so I have been putting my pudding in the freezer.  It is wonderful this way, it tastes like ice cream and takes me a while to eat it, so it feels like I am eating more than I actually am.
