Path-A-Palooza

Running and brisk walking are the best things that I can do to lose pounds and get into physical shape. We have three walking paths in town all of them about ¼ mile from my home. I do leg stretches before leaving the house and the distance from home to the walking path is my warm up. I’ll choose a different path each day for variety and walk as quickly as I can to the path. On the path I start jogging at a pace where I feel my heart rate increasing but I do not push myself. I jog until I’m somewhat weary and then slow to a brisk walk keeping my heart rate at a comfortable rate for me. Once my heart rate is almost back to normal I start jogging again and I push just a little harder this time.

     In my neighborhood, I have only 3 streets to walk in everyday. But 2 everyone, please remember 2 Not step in Mud Puddles! As those puddles are harboring "OIL" ! that are dripping from some "cars" . Due 2 the "forever" Mud Puddle in front of my house, that have been there "FOREVER" !! I Now have plates & pins in my right ankle & leg, per stepping into that mud puddle that had Oil in it, dripping from the cars of Mommies who were dropping their children off, across the street to school. My house is the last house in the neighborhood, across the way of a  Jr. High School... and I was laid up for one Year with a cast on my leg &  "Stuck " in front of a TV on my Couch...& using Crutches when needed & then the cast came off & I had to learn how to walk again ! To this day...I do not watch TV ! Also, during that timeframe...I went on a diet, of salads; I love shredded wheat cereal & Cherrios Cereal & both with fruit>strawberries or banana's or kewie or blueberries &/or/etc.! is also good & for both cereals & sugar or equal is not needed, per the fruit! I don't buy cereals that have sugar already added....it's better to use what is good for your health! That fall took place in 1990, I was only 42 yrs old & had been  newly married for only 6 months,,,talk about Bad Luck!!..for me & my new Husband! So Remember, 2 Step Around Mud Puddles when you walk & keep Eating Foods that are Good for you...and those pounds will come off quickly & you will be more Healthier than ever before! So I have been Walking now for 15 years>>and still going Forward....Celebrating Life...I retired from a State Agency last week, after working for 15 years!...so your sucess is right around the corner>>So Take Care! ...Janise M.

SOMETIMES DIET IS DANGEROUS WE MAY BE DENYING OUR BODY WHAT IT MIGHT NEED.


EVERY BODY SYSTEM IS ACCUSTOMED TO A DIET..AND WHEN WE STOP THAT VERY THING WHICH WE HAVE BEEN CONSUMING FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME AND MAY BE IT HAVE BECOME A ESSENTIAL EVIL..THE SO CALLED EVIL AS PER DIETS SCHEDULES.


SO BEFORE GIVING UP ON SOMETHING SUDDENLLY TAPPER THE CONSUMPTION AND ALLOW OUR BODY TO GET ACCUSTOMED TO SLOW WITHDRAWAL.
